Logo Design

Challenge
Create a logo for a writer and therapist. She wanted an elegant, engaging, thought-provoking design.

Background
The client sought a unified logo for their writing and social work/therapy endeavors, reflecting their Italian heritage. I integrated earthy elements with a custom TERA font resembling bricks and warm terracotta color. The illustration symbolizes the connection between hand (writing) and mouth (talk therapy), while the background shape, a puzzle piece, represents the challenges faced in both fields.

Challenge
Create a logo that feels aspirational, modern, accessible, and references the concept of a writing instrument as a powerful, transformational tool.

Background
Through 20 years of trauma and healing work with communities, children, and families, Journal As Altar’s creator recognized that her most restorative form of self-care was keeping several art journals, diaries, scrapbooks, notebooks, and planners as a meaningful, spirit-filled practice. Journal As Altar was born, offering creative supplies and workshops to others seeking creative practices for well-being.

Challenge
Create a logo with strength training at its core but extends beyond that. The logo should feel fresh, energized, and solid.

Background
I created this for an aspiring personal trainer at a local boutique gym, seeking to broaden client outreach. Renowned for a gentle and consistent approach, specializing in assisting clients in establishing robust and reliable foundations.

Challenge
As part of a Portland Coffee Roasters brand redesign, explore logo ideas that are classic, modern and approachable for the roaster that has global reach. The logo needs to be versatile due to the range of the company’s branding and packaging assets.

Background
Portland Coffee Roasters was in need of a new identity in order to stay competitive within the growing specialty coffee market. They just celebrated their 20-year anniversary and while they wanted to keep their loyal customers, they also wanted to attract new ones.
